Windows 7 Home Premium Download

I have an old laptop that I need to get windows 7 Home Premium on. I go to Microsoft and try to download it but the product key is for another company, which is most likely dell its manufacturer. This pc is an Inspiron 1545 that I just got a new HDD for as the other one broke.I go there and I cant find a way to download the operating system at all. I have no idea how to download it and I don't want to pay money for dell customer support. Can anyone help me?


PS: If someone can tell me that windows ten home edition still accepts Win 7 home product keys, please let me know! I wouldn't mind upgrading!

1. I do not believe Win 10 still accepts Win 7 license for activation.

2. MS is telling you to obtain the install media from Dell. Because the license was originally obtained from Dell.
When the system was new, you were afforded the opportunity to create your own install media, free, from the Factory Recovery partition on the hard drive.
No one ever does this, but it was there.

You can no longer download it , you need to contact DELL.
