Windows 7 home premium vs ultimate

Hello,
Because I have 64bit Win7 Home Premium - I can't use some applics on 32Bit disks. Does a Win7 read 32Bits as well?

Win7 x64 can execute 32 bit applications, however it can't run 16 bit applications. Also, there is no such thing as 32 bit disks.
