hi all,

i turned my pc off before i went to bed, everything was working as it should. then the next morning windows didnt load and it gave me this message:

windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change night be the cause. to fix the problems:

1. insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2.choose your language settings, and then click "next".
3. click "repair your computer"

if you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacture for assistance.

status: 0xc000000f

info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

so we put in disc and tried to repair and it refused to work, we got a error. then we ran the diagnosis and this is what the bottom said ( i only got a picture of this, not the whole thing )

Result: completed successfully. error code = 0x
Time taken = 1014 ms

root cause found:
-------------------------------------------------------------
boot sector: boot sector disk partition is corrupt.

repair action boot sector repair
result: failed. error = 0x17
Time taken = 999ms

so at this point ive seen other forums saying stuff about the boot.exe like bootrec /mbr, bootrec /fixboot... etc

didnt work.

now i get this error

windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change night be the cause. to fix the problems:

1. insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2.choose your language settings, and then click "next".
3. click "repair your computer"

if you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacture for assistance.

status: 0xc000000f

info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance
