Hello, I just reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it installed on D drive instead of C drive, C is an 80gb hdd and D drive is a 1TB and I wanna have windows on the 80gb instead of the 1tb is their anyway to swap where windows is installed to with out reinstalling?

Go to the 1tb drive manufacturers download section and there will be free cloning software there that you can use.

edit - let me add that its probably better to have the os on the 1tb as its probably 3 times faster than an old 80gb drive and I would use the 80 to act as backup of your important data like pics.

well see i'm indifferent on which HDD its actually installed on i just want what ever hdd it IS installed on to be drive C instead of drive D, you make a good point about making the older 80gb hdd a backup drive however how do i swap the letters of the drives around? i've tried to change them in disk management however i cant make my 1tb C drive it always says "Parameter is incorrect" but i CAN make my 80gb the C drive how do i swap the drive letters
