Windows 7 installation error

I recently came into a used desktop. While it's nice, it also seems to be teeming with viruses and malware. The friend I bought it from doesn't remember where he put his product key, but that's okay, I have a Windows 7 installation disc.

This is where the problems start.

First I tried changing the boot order in the UEFI BIOS menu. I get the error "Reboot and select proper reboot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

Okay, maybe there's something wrong with the DVD drive? I restarted, booted up Windows and tried running the disc. It worked fine, until I got to the window for selecting a hard drive. None of them were selectable so I hit cancel.

Computer started acting up, so I restarted, booted up windows and tried running the disc. Now, after it copies temporary files and tries to start, I get this error:

Okay, maybe there's something wrong with the DVD. I redownload the ISO file, extract to a flash drive, and try booting it from the flash drive. Computer recognizes the device, lets me select it, but then I get the error "Reboot and select proper reboot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

What am I missing here?

like the steps to force 7 under skuylake then it may go , but don't count on anything fully working

cant even say if you can get it installed to upgrade to 10 anymore ??
