Trying to update my computer to windows 7 from Windows vista from a CD. I encountered the error "To install the device driver needed to access your hard driver, insert the media containing the driver files, and then click OK." I'm not sure what this means or how to pass this.
My motherboard is a Dell XPS 630i

Solution
Your INSTALLATION CD is corrupted, you may need to make a bootable CD/USB using RUFUS on another PC using an ISO file.

It wants your hard drive driver I'm pretty sure. If Vista is working right just say with it, Less hassle that way. If you really want Windows 7 then you need to list your specs.
