Im using windows 7 from a bootable iso file on a USB (used rufus to make it bootable)

My MOBO is a Gigabyte H170 D3HP

Ive tried using different usb slots as seen on another forum and none worked
(2.0,3.0 and 3.1)

Ive also tried looking to disable usb 3.0 in my bios and couldnt manage to find it

Help would be much appreciated as im about to run out and buy one on disk 🙁

The motherboard page in my bios? Theres; M.I.T, System Info, BIOS features, Peripherals, Chipset and Power Management

Sorry im a bit of a noob at the whole BIOS thing... first pc build and all

THe "windows usb installation tool"? i cant find a patch tool utility ://

And how would i get that into my system without an OS? just via the same usb im trying to boot from?

i will try that tomorrow, thanks for your help (its late at night in aus 😛)

Thanks for your help, will keeep u posted
