OEM versions have certain limitations as they are meant for OEM retail systems (Dell, HP, Acer etc).
With OEM copies you are unable to upgrade your motherboard to a different make/model (granted you can usually bypass this limitaiton by calling Microsoft)
OEM copies lack Microsoft customer support as well.
Cdude55 is absolutely correct. You would be better off buying a retail version. It's a bit more expensive but well worth it if you do any future upgrades, especially the motherboard as was mentioned by Cdude55.
