the problem with this is (read the description) you will have to provide all support for your computer. ie drivers etc.oem is intended for installation on new computers for sale.i think you will regret not ponying up for the retail version.
I was about to ask the same question about Windows Pro 64bit.
I installed a Windows 7 home edition for the first time 3 month ago (I had Macs before) and I got the OEM edition. I had no idea this was different from the regular edition except that it was cheaper. I got to go check the missing drivers in the Device Manager and it took me a few hours to get everything running.
Is the retail edition doing all of this for you? If this is the difference then the OEM version isn't that much of a hassle, except maybe the cap on how many reinstall can be done with the same serial number.
