hello guys i was just wondering if i should buy a windows 7 oem
what is its difference from the retail
and somebody said to me that an oem version of windows cannot receive updates, is that true?

OEM vs Retail:

OEM will be tied to that first motherboard
Retail can be moved to new hardware if needed.

As always, only one PC at a time.

I strongly prefer you to the retail version of windows 7, the advantage of retail version is that in case you want to change the hardware of your system, then you can easily move your OS to another one and re-activate it with your key easily.
