Question Windows 7 often goes Unresponding

Hi,
My windows 7 often goes Unresponding
Even if it just browsing the web
my browser will go unresponding
It will go unresponding for few seconds and it will respond again for a few seconds only
When I first startup my pc this won't happen but after a while (5 or 15 min) the problem starts
I tried re installing windows 7 but it won't work
I also have another drive for games should I format it?

If you are having issues with Windows running slowly, even after a clean setup, then testing the drives is a good idea. If you don't have a solid state drive, get one of those, install Windows and programs on that. A 500 GB one is getting pretty cheap. Unplug the old drive see how the system runs.

did you ever test the os drive with is maker software .

Youy can try and download Malwarebytes and check for malware on your computer
Download Hard Disk Sentinel to check your hard drives are not failing, as when they start to fail crashing and pausing becomes common.

Changing components is not as easy on a PC
So is there another way to test my drive?

You reinstalled windows 7. Did you also install all the windows updates? Could be hundreds of them.

Laptop may have a disk check utility in the BIOS, or you can get a utility to install from the laptop or disk vendor.

What Browser [ at what rev and 32 or 64 setting] , how much physical and Virtual mem. , etc.. Look at 'task manager ' to see what ''processes' are running and end those that don't seem necc.
