Windows 7 on an Acer touchscreen laptop?

Hi all, I can get a good deal on this laptop:

It has touchscreen and comes with win8, but I didn't like what I read about win8 and would like to stick with windows 7 if possible. Does windows 7 support the touchscreen on this laptop? Couldn't find anything related on the acer site. Thank you!

7 does not take advantage of touch screens as much as 8 does. Another issue is that Acer does not appear to offer Windows 7 drivers for this laptop. That's not to say you can't find them, but it will be considerably more difficult to get Windows 7 to work properly without Acer providing them.
