Windows 7 on an SSD question.

i have been thinking about buying an SSD to replace my old C: drive.
when i started watching video's about installing windows i saw only video's with people installing from CD disks but i have a re-install folder on my current C: disk.
is it possible to re-install windows onto the SSD from within windows?

Just put the windows file on a flash drive and boot from that.

It needs the hp Recovery manager so i don't think it will work like that.

Why? Are you not doing a clean install? All you need for a clean install of windows is the windows install file and the key.
