windows 7 on old laptop

hi all. i hope someone knows if i can install windows7 on a laptop ibm r40
with intel pentium r m 1.4 and 2 gb ram

yes you can i see that there are drivers for windows 8.1.
here are the drivers for it select operating system and your good to go.
