Can the ASUS ROG STRIX B250F ATX Motherboard (LGA 1151) use windows 7... im asking this question because someone on tomshardware told me that my previous motherboard (asus z270-k (prime) atx lga1151 motherboard) cannot run Windows 7 so my question is :
can the ASUS ROG STRIX B250F ATX Motherboard (LGA 1151) run Windows 7...and I also have an Intel core i7 7700k 4.2ghz quad core kaby lake in it

Solution
Kaby Lake CPUs do not support Windows 7. Saying that though, just because it isn't 'supported' doesn't mean it won't work... If you do run it, you will face problems and lose a heck of a lot of performance in some places, so that being said, I would rather just go Windows 10 and save the hassle. There is always the option to use a 6 generation CPU as well but since you already have a 7700K, I'd say just go to Windows 10.

All in all, it will 'work', but there will be problems
