Windows 7 Pro vs. Windows 8.1 Pro for Gaming

Hey, I need help deciding whether to get Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8.1 Pro. I will mainly be gaming and I need to know whether there is any difference in performance. This is the build I will be using the OS on: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/f7WyTW

I like Windows 7 but that is just me. Windows 8.1 is your better option. No difference in performance however.

For a gaming PC, you do not need Pro of either type.

Win 7 Home Premium x64, or Windows 8.1.
No Pro needed.

Actually that doesn't matter, after the Windows 10 switch we'll all be running on the same operating system.
