Windows 7 problems

Please help! I have installed 7 on three differend hard disk; on one the numric key pad will not operate. On the 2nd everything seems okay but have not been able to connect to my home network ( same on all drives). On th 3rd drive the @ is " and the " is @. The hiome group setup is not working and everything I reas says all computers on the network must be windows 7. How can I solve these problems?
