Windows 7 safe mode question

Is there another way to get to safe mode from HP Windows 7 laptop instead of The Hitting f8..stuck thanks

well try to spam "shift+f10" once you see the windows logo booting up.
this will open a command console. then type the following. to try to fix your system drive.

• * chkdsk /f c:
  * bootrec /fixmbr
  * bootrec /fixboot
  * bootrec /rebuildbcd
  * shutdown /r
