Windows 7, says I am not connected but I am

I tried the Microsoft Support Thread, it did not work.
Ok, so Windows 7 says I am not connected, but I am!
Can someone help, it's really annoying!
This is what I'm dealing with btw

I just reset my computer to factory settings, it fixed it! Guys just back up your data and crap to an external Hard Drive and reset! Of course I had to wait 4 hours but :/!
