CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1 GB
MOBO: Gigabyte
GA-990FXA-UD3
A few notes about the MOBO: It doesn't have an integrated GPU which means the GPU **IS** working. Also, the GPU is PCI Express 3.0 but the MOBO only has PCI Express 2.0 x16 although those should be backwards compatible.
I installed Windows 7 with the monitor plugged into the GPU. Everything ran and looked fine, however I didn't have the AMD drivers installed yet as I hadn't installed the LAN drivers for the MOBO. I installed that and the USB 3 drivers from the disc that came with the MOBO. After that I downloaded the **NON**Beta AMD drivers. I installed them, restarted, and the whole screen is glitched. Nothing moves around or flashes, but the top moved over left and down, and the bottom moved up and right. Even after logging in it still looks like that. I tried uninstalling those drivers and using the Beta drivers, and then tried using the CD that came with the GPU. All have the same effect. I have tried different monitors but nothing different.
The glitch looks kind of like this, just not as extreme. http://
