I have an Intel Core i3 sandy bridge system with 4 GB RAM and Asus motherboard, and running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. Last time, my 450 watt PSU got damaged so got replaced with a new one. Again the RAM stick had got damaged so replaced it with a new one. Every time I installed a new component I have reinstalled Windows.

Recently I got a problem that Windows shuts down automatically after a few seconds from starting the PC. How to check the fault? Please suggest me in detail and step by step.

Solution
Hello... 1) Insert/Boot your Windows Disk, and Run a repair with the Tools on it.
or... 2) Delete the partitions on the hardrive, Re-boot and Re install Windows.
or... 3) Safe Boot into Windows and inspect your Hardware configuration.
