Hey guys. My problem would be, whenever I put my computer to sleep, after around 5-10 seconds, it will start back up. There is nothing wrong with the start button everything is connected properly.

Recently, yesterday, I did some changes to my SSD to save the space as it is only 60gb and it has windows 7. First, I deleted system restore, Next, I shifted pagefile to the other 1tb drive I have, Lastly, I disabled hibernation.

I think it is because of me deleteing hibernation. Could you kind guys please help me? But on the other hand, deleteing hibernation would not affect sleep. Maybe its because of the pagefile being shifted???

Thanks guys.

I think you made a mistake by your ssd "tweaks"

Yes, the hiberfile does take up space equivalent to the amount of ram you have.
But disabling hibernation does not delete the space once it has ever been used.
It is apparently tricky to get rid of it, but google is your friend.

System restore provides a useful function.
If you get a virus or a failed windows maintenance, you can't go back.

If you need to do paging, the ssd is 50x faster than a hard drive.
With sufficient ram, you will page very little, so yes, you can reduce the size of the page file, but don't eliminate it.

As to your wake up from sleep question:

Disable wake up on lan activity, or other unsolicited interrupts.

Wait, I said wrongly.
1. I used the CMD command line to disable/remove hibernate
2. I shifted my pageing to my HDD. That would still work. I have 8gb ram.
3. The sleep problem even occurs when i closed all my programs in my taskbar. But could you give me instructions to how to disable wake up on those activities?

And any more suggestions?

Could you please tell me what my mistakes are?
And the sleep mode thing is when I put my computer to sleep, It boots up again

I use sleep all the time.
When you sleep to the S3 sleep state, it takes only seconds to sleep and seconds to restore.
Much better than a shutdown and cold boot.

Look in the bios. There should be some setting that sets sleep to S3.
Also in the bios, there should be options to enable/disable such things as wake on lan activity which I would guess to be your problem.

Sometimes wake on keyboard activity can be a problem with sensitivekeyboards(or wandering cats)
A jiggle from walking by can cause it.

But can anyone tell me what I have done wrong? I have 8gb ram and i have pagefile on the HDD so it should still work. I have never used hibernation before and i searched it up it should remove it. And I created a 1% system restore. Will my new system restore checkpoints overwrite each other? If not how can I make it overwrite
