I just recently installed a i5 7600k with a Asus Z270P and 8GB of DDR4 whenever i run windows i move my mouse and it reacts at a delayed time and is very laggy if i open up a game it works fine but i do not have a cd drive in my computer and i cannot install the motherboard drivers. Also it does not detect any of my usb's i have tried to put drivers on to multiple usb's and whenever i plug them in they do not work. i also tried a external cd drive and that did not work either. the problem is, is that windows is not usable and i cannot install any drivers for my motherboard if anyone can help that would be great

i have already done that on another hard drive and it was the exact same problem

if that is the case i would try installing or using a Linux live cd to see how your computer behaves with that OS. if you still have problems then it is most likely a bad motherboard

alright appreciate the help i just got the parts 2 days ago so i will be able to return them if needed

if it has only been 2 days you should be able to but you should check on the return and support policies of the website you purchased them from

Windows 7 needs USB 3 drivers installed before they will work.
There are two "USB 2" sockets under the Ethernet port, use these to connect any USB devices until you get the drivers installed.
