Hey.
So today I wanted to remove my mouse from my pc. Since my cpu is on an elevated surface, I need to drag it down, remove the usb cable and drag it back up. While in the process, I accidentally removed the blue cable (that goes into holes stuff). I replugged it in and dragged it back up. So, after a while, I boot up my PC and I see POWER SAVING MODE displayed on screen. Only this. nothing else. Removed ram, unplugged every cable. Nothing helps.

The pc worked absolutely smoothly. It is like 1 and a half years old. Processor is Intel i7. 8 GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce GT 710.

Any help?

1) Power Saving Mode is probably from the monitor. Does it say the same if the PC is powered up?
2) My first guess is that you disconnected power. Does the PC do anything when you "boot it up?" Any fan noise, any beeps, any change in what's on the monitor.
3) "Removed ram, unplugged every cable." Err, computers won't work in that state. Did you reconnect them? Do you have previous experience inside a PC?

Hey.

1. Yes it does.
2. Yes, fan runs. After like 30 seconds booting up I even hear the sound windows make when it starts (the tunu-noo-noo sound LOL)
3. Yes, of course I reconnected everything ( -_- ) . Uh, well. I don't know. I can set a video card, set a ram etc etc. That's about all I can do inside a PC.

I've already done that.

Long shot but which way round is the blue plug connection to the case of your PC - horizontal or vertical? Put another way, are there two sockets that would receive that plug? If so, try connecting to the other one.

Vertical would imply the onboard graphics adapter which is with all the input/output conections on the motherboard. An add-on graphics card would usually be mounted horizontal.

Hey, thanks for the support. I took it to the Service Centre. They said motherboard was broke. They'll fix it and give it back.

Thanks all.
