Windows 7 stuck on Logging Off

Hi All,

Having an issue currently where one of our Windows 7 machines is stuck on the 'Logging Off' screen. The machine is on another site and i wont be able to physically get to it until Monday. The user said that he came in this morning and it was stuck on the Logging Off screen (which tells me he doesnt turn his machine off) and then he turned it off with the Power Button. Once the machine is powered up again it launches right back into the Logging Off screen.
Any help would be much appreciated as im a little stumped short of launching in safe mode and doing a system restore on Monday.

Maybe when the user presses the power button, it just goes to sleep mode and comes back again. Try to power shutdown by pressing and holding the powerbutton

This was exactly what was happening, when i got over to the site i turned it off via the button and noticed it had just gone into hibernate, a full hard shutdown allowed it to boot as normal.
