Hi:
I am trying to map a drive from a Windows 7 Home Preimium computer to an NT 4.0 Domain server. It is a home network. I can map drives to all my other computers (xp home, xp pro, vista home premium). They can all map to Windows 7 and the NT Server. The NT server can map to Windows 7. Only one of the computers is actually in the Domain (xp pro). I have added the Windows 7 computer to the list of computers in server mgr on the NT box. I did not have to do that for the other computers. Please note I an not trying to join the NT Domain. I just want to map a drive. I have tried different user logins (including the server administrator and domain admin) with no results. I notice that the Windows 7 computer keeps appending the computer name in front of the user name. I have tried clicking on using another account in Windows 7 (using an administrator login to the NT box) with no results. I have tried everything I can think of. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Nick
