WIndows 7 to windows 8.....

Just wondering if its worth buying windows 8, which seems likes its only for tablets. I am currently using windows 7 Home edition for my gaming desktop.

Windows 8 is not really needed and has some compatibility issues with games recently, I don't Windows 8 as a big improvement and for the price is not really worthwhile.

Only get Windows 8 if you really like it. I got the upgrade for $40 last year, and use it daily. On a dual screen PC, the Metro interface is rarely seen. Runs just like Windows 7. I see no reason to go back to 7.

But similarly, there is little reason to change up from Win7. Unless you really want to.
