Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with XP 32 bit program. Are they compatible?

Hello,
I just upgraded to windows 7 Ultimate to utilize the XP mode. I currently access a company thru a VPN client network on my 64 bit Windows. The company has changed some programs that are 32 bit which I have downloaded to XP. Will the 2 systems work together or will I need to access the company from the XP side? Also, is the remote desktop connection something that came with the upgrade?

I use program which creates a SSL connection using windows 7 Enterprise 64bit and works fine i cant see any reason why your solution will not work either, best to contact the software vendor.

I forgot to mention, the remote desktop is available in the pro version and higher.
