Windows 7 ultimate freezes in welcome screen

Hello,
I have an acer aspire one d255 and recently used a anytime upgrade key and got windows 7 ultimate it worked for a couple days now when i turn my computer on it goes to a black screen and freezes after the welcome screen cant go into safe mode or desktop and takes longer than normal to get to the welcome screen can anyone help

Boot from the Windows CD, and try the Repair option. If it still doesn't work, reinstall Windows from scratch. If it still doesn't work, you probably have some sort of hardware failure.
