windows 7 ultimate x64 freeze

Hello everyone, i just bough a new power supply and a new hard disk for my pc, installed windows 7 ultimate x64 on it and now from time to time it freezes, taking 10-20 sec or even more to come back to normal, what can i do ?

My specs are following :

4GB Ram DDR 3 1333mhz
Ati Radeon HD 4800 Series
Hard disk Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SATA-III 7200RPM 64MB
Motherboard : GA-MA770T-UD3P
Amd Phenom II X2 545
Power supply is ATX Power Supply 600w

I need to mention that i looked on event viewer and it said something about The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0 , i need help please !

Buy a valid OS, and you're problems will magically go away.

You could install windows 10 on it and give it a go, it's not as bad as you think.
