Hello there people,
I am having some problems on booting my old computer. I am not getting any specific errors but here is what i get:
1. My computer can open but it cannot load my desktop.
2. My computer stucks (or fails to load) on windows startup screen "starting windows"(What it should do: this, what it does: this (And doesn't load furthermore)
3. Safemode can be opened, but not used.
3.1 Safemode stucks on classpnp.sys
3.2 Safemode with Command Promt stucks on classpnp.sys
3.3 Safemode with Networking doesn't load anything
4. Repair computer doesn't load.
5. Windows System Recovery Tools cannot load (this)

What have i tried?
1. Googled for solutions, and tried any available one.
2. Took apart my whole computer, Cleaned it up on a static free enviroment, remove all the dust and rebuild it.

I've been struggling to find a solution all day, but i couldn't make my computer startup.

What do i need to accomplish? I am looking to Format my computer Hard Drive and install Ubuntu.

I would be very greatful to find a solution that is fast, and probably easy.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and helping me out with my problem:)

its probably a hardware related issue, can be very hard to diagnose this type of problem. It could be a hard drive problem also, Have you ever tried a SSD drive? If you got one on hand try it, how old is your computer, it could be also that it's not compatible with windows 7 depending how old it is. Otherwise I'd probably take it down to your local techie for them to take a look at it

Hello there,
The computer is about 5-6 years old(With XP), but got upgraded 4 years ago to work with Windows 7. It was working fine, but i simply bought a better computer this year. I don't believe it is capable of handling an SSD driver due to its age. Also i only have 1 HDD on my normal computer and one on the old one(Which we are discussing about right now). I will probably go it on an expert to solve it if i cannot find any other solution.
Thanks alot:)

P.S: This is my last answer for today. Going to sleep. Goodnight people!

dont think its a problem with the os either.restart the computer and go into the bios to see if the hard drive is recognized in the bios.if it is,one other thing might be to reset the bios to its default settings.to do this remove the cmos battery for a few minutes then reinstall and reboot.before removing the battery unplug the psu and hold down the power button for a few seconds.remember to plug the psu back in before trying to boot.lol

I've forgot to mension i also tried to check bios. They recognise everything. I've also reseted bios from BIOS directly, but if you believe i should remove the cmos battery, i will try that!:)

Hello there again,
I've removed the battery, waited for 1 minutes, and placed it back in. That helped the windows to complete the loading windows, but it is still freezing after. I've also tried to use the repair disk, It does more process than the previous one, but it agains freezes at Starting windows.

Please try this:

1. Boot into Windows Recovery Mode
2. Open command prompt
3. Type:

sfc /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=C:\ /OFFWINDIR=C:\Windows

It will run for a few minutes, saying it had successfully repaired some files.
Reboot and see if it works.

As i said, unfortunatly i cannot boot into any mode, including Windows Recovery Mode

___FIXED___
So, after trying for the final time to disassemple and rebuild the computer i found out when i was going to remove the RAM that the person that cleaned my computer had added the ram on the wrong sockets. By changing the ram and putting it on DMM_1 instead of DMM_2 which was placed i actually made my computer boot normaly.
Thanks alot everyone for the help that you gave me. With your help and some luck i achieved to fix my old computer.
I will be forever greatful,
