Windows 7 update stopped working in two machines

Hello!

My two machines using Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 are not updating anymore. Both started to have the problem at the same time. The following message appears:

"Windows Could not search for new updates
Code 80070422 Windows Update encountered an unknown error."

If you click in get help, you get the steps to check if update service is started. I checked and it's ok.

Would Microsoft block the updates because we are not supposed to use this Beta before public available?

Any thoughts?

just curious whether you used the plus patcher from orbit30?

if so he has a new edition out, uninstall your current version, check the site we all know and love for the newer version (like version 5 now i think) and use that instead.

Never use a pre-beta OS as your primary OS.

Montyuk, thank a lot! The V5 just solve the problem and now everything is fine again.

AMDFanGirl, Thank for the advice, but is out of my control, I have to test the betas, in general, is a lot of fun to me.
