What specific device are you asking about (make/model)? Sounds like you have some sort of external enclosure for a hard drive that you need help with. If that is the case, Windows 7 doesn't need any special drivers to work with standard IDE and SATA hard drives, whether in an enclosure or not.

Please clarify.
