Windows 7 Using 7GB of ram with nothing running

I have a massive problem with my new asus laptop.
The computer is constantly using 100% of the 8GB of ram(even with nothing open), but the strange thing is in task manager, the process using the most ram is svchost and it is only using ~250mb. Where is all the ram being used?

"with nothing running"?
There are a lot of programs running in the background: SearchIndexer.exe, TuneUpUtilitiesService64.exe, Everything.exe, SearchFilterHost.exe, Reflect.exe, ... The list is much longer.

Look at how they are using next to no ram. What is using the 7Gb is the main question.
