Windows 7 will not boot from new hard drive

I am attempting to install a significantly larger hard drive to replace my old one. I created a partition and installed Windows 7 64-bit ultimate. After the OS is done installing and resets it says windows is unable to boot due to incompatible hardware.

What do I need to do to make this work?

What HDD? Did you format it when you installed W7? How big is the W7 partition?

He Used His whole HDD I Think.

It is a segate 3TB Sata hard drive

I installed the drive into the computer and put the windows 7 ultimate disc in the drive. Then I preceded to install the OS.

It was only a small portion of the drive that was used.
