Windows 7 Wireless Netork Adapter Missing (not detected/no longer there) after update

Solution
Go to the laptop, desktop, or - if you built your own - motherboard or wi-fi card manufacturer's web site on another PC and get the wireless adapter's drivers and put them on a thumb drive and re-install. Let us know if this works.

Okay.
In the Run command Line type : devmgmt.msc
This opens up device Manager. Check for any hardware which has an exclamation mark. If you can see someting likw a Wireless Controller etc.... Then Right Click and go to Properties. In Properties go to the Details Tab and check the DEVICE Ids. Copy paste the Device id in to Google and it tell you the manufacturer of the card. Go to the site and download and install drivers.
