Windows 7 won't boot system repair destroyed

Here's what happened.
My windows 7. Has been showing some issues when booting
" partition blabla blabla not found press key"

I just press a key and it boots normally although a bit slow. Lately every second time I boot windows it won't boot without system repair or even basic repair from the system repair environment (the extra partition).

Now it won't even give me any system repair at all. It just freezes. So I guess windows is dead according to this thread http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1775600/windos-freezes-system-repair-wont-boot.html?xtor=EREC-8889


So how can I repair my windows 7 starter if even the repair partition does not work?


Ps: it's not a hardware issue I have dual boot and the other os works fine.

PSS: I can see the windows recovery partition in boot grub. That's why I don't need a cd or usb

Get the windows install cd or usb, plug it in, reboot and press a key to boot off of it, and then run the repair from the disk.
However, if the sysem is getting corrupted this frequently there might be issues that need to be addressed. If you can boot into linux, run a disk checker to make sure there are no issues with the hdd. Try defragmenting once you have both systems up and running. If this issue keeps happening with the windows partition afterwards, you might want to look into deleting the windows partition entirely, creating a new one, and fresh installing windows on it.

"partition blabla blabla not found press key" is a very important ... and bad error.

If anything I'd rather use an unregistered version of Windows 10 than Windows 7 starter.

You can legally use Windows 10 without paying for it.

Microsoft just doesn't let you change the wallpaper.


I'm saying if it isn't the hard drive breaking, just install Windows Home 10 and never activate it if you want to save money.

Or activate if you want to be able to change the wallpaper.
