Hi there. I just yesterday reset my computer and reinstalled windows. Now, after installing windows I find that my network adapter which I had been using before I reset my computer, is not being detected. I've tried installing the driver from disk and it don't work. It just doesn't find the device I think; unless thats the Ethernal Controller in device manager?

I have had to put my old network card in my computer to use the internet now, but its much slower than my network adapter which is why I want to get it to work again.

The only 2 things that have a (!) mark against them in device manager are the USB Serial Bus and the Ethernet Controller.

-Wondering if the USB Serial Bus is the issue as the Network Adapter is usb connected, no idea really.
P.S. The Network Adapter is called:

"Belkin Wireless G Plus Mimo USB Network Adapter"

Thanks guys!

Hi there
You guessed it correctly. :)
You need to get the USB up and running correctly as this is causing your USB Ethernet Adapter to not be recognised correctly
You need to load the chipset drivers for your motherboard which should sort the USB bus out for you.
