Windows 7 won't detect my Seagate Barracuda even though BIOS and Device Manager pick it up.

I had to replace my HDD, which windows doesn't detect. I see it in device manager as well as my bios but whenever I try to download anything the only selection I have is my C drive which is my SSD. Any help?

Solution
go to control panel
go to adminstration tools
go to computer managerment
go to disk manager
you should see the drive in there, right click on it and make a new partition and then it will let you format it. Sometimes it will pop up a window automatically and ask you to do all this.
