Windows 7 won't download updates.

Hello, I recently formatted my computer and installed Windows 7, the problem is whenever i try to update the Windows it can never find any updates it is just stuck at "Checking for Updates".

How long have you been waiting? After a new install the first few 'Checking for Updates' cycles can last for over an hour before it brings up over 200+ required updates.

Note: Windows update service must be stopped, before you install those. Also it's better to change windows update service startup type to manual(or disabled) before and change it back when all those updates are finished.

I literally left my PC up all night while I was sleeping and it still was checking for updates, btw accidentaly picked you as solution.
