Windows 7 Won't Download?

This is my first build, and everything is done, but then I ran into this problem: Windows 7 only downloads about halfway, and then stops, even after a few tries, and 2 different copies of win 7. Any ideas on what this could be? I'm thinking it might be the HDD (WD Blue), that is defective and not allowing for a download?

Are you saying that it won't allow you to finish the Windows 7 install or you are trying to download onto the computer and it's crashing?

If its an installation that is locking up, then I'd suspect the RAM first. What are the computer specs?

If possible, try installing with just 1 RAM module in, if it locks up, try with the other. Every time I've has Windows installs fail, it was due to bad RAM.

The computer isn't crashing, the download just stops at a certain point and won't continue.

I tried with each stick. One time it nothing came on the screen, just a blinking underscore, the other time it had the load bar, but didn't load at all
