Solution

Sorry for responding so late but i figured out what the problem was so i decided to connect my hdd along with my ssd and it let me continue. thanks for your help
are you selecting the correct partition to format you need to select the one with the largest size should be just below what the actual disk size is!. If this doesnt solve the problem try plugging into a different sata connection on your motherboard and try again!

Check out step 9 in this guide, please forgive me if this seems amateur but I do not know your level of experience.

What do you see when you reach step 9 on your system, does the partition say unallocated space, or is there already an existing partition? If there is one that already exist you need to select it, hit advanced, and delete it. If prompted with whether you want to do a quick or full format, choose quick because you do not want to use up unnecessary writes on your SSD.

EDIT -- If you have additional hard drives installed with data you do not want to lose be sure of which partition belongs to which disk other wise you might erase all your stored data.

it says Disk 0 Partition 1 Total size:111.8gb Free Space: 111.7gb Type: Primary

Im sorry I didn't post the link in my last post http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Windows-7-for-Beginners

Ok, can you select that partition, click advanced, and delete it/format it? You want it to be unallocated space.

i deleted it and its now unallocated space. im sorry this is my first build

it still says the same thing. i only have to option to manually create a new partiton

OK, so create a new partition using the entire drive.

its only allows me to create a partition 114472 MB in size and when i apply it that it still doesnt let me

A pic of your install screen would help here.

Click on Apply, and what happens?

it still says unable to create new system partition
