Hi, noob at this, built my first pc back in 2012, and recently decided to upgrade my system, basically going from a really old intel cpu, i5 3750k with win 7, to ryzen 5 2600x with new asus rog strix x470-f motherboard, and corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 3000mhz ram from the qvl. Still using my old gpu, a gtx 970
Bios boots fine, but my issue is when windows tries to load after, I just get the windows logo, and every so often the screen glitches like it's about to proceed to the next step, but then just stays on the window logo.
Any thoughts as to what might be wrong or what I can do to fix it? I was intending to upgrade to windows 10 once i got windows booted, but won't get past the load screen.
