Windows 7 won't start up

I unistalled a scan program and it had to restart. It never started Windows 7, just went to a black screen. I tried to restart and pressed f9. It has done a startup repair several times but says it can not repair computer at this time.

HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!

which scan program? if you have the windows 7 dvd and recent backup, you can do a repair install.

I have no idea where the dvd is. and it says there is no recent back up. But I know there was. I am looking on my external hard drive to see if there is one there
