Windows 7 won't start up

Ok so I just built a fresh pc, and I was using an old laptop to download Linux onto a usb. I downloaded Rufus and the basic Ubuntu files, and Rufus wouldn't launch. Library just had infinite loading. I force restarted the computer, and now Windows won't load. I have already tried setup repair and it did not work. Is this some coincidence with the hardware failing or is it related to the Linux and Rufus download? Thanks!

Try to remove all the stuff related to the Linux install.

thanks that fixed it for me, i ended up moving the hard drive to a different computer and wiping it of linux then plugging it back in. Thanks!
