WINDOWS 8.1 APPS NOT WORKING please help

I recently purchased an ASUS Transformer book notebook/tablet. It came with Win 8.1 installed so no installation disc. last night IE stopped working and could not find anything and then just stopped working all together. I switched to slim browser. This morning my start page came up but the apps were not working. I tried getting them to work on the desktop but to no avail. So I started trying to get the PC Settings to come up but I have NO ACCESS AT ALL. I finally got store to come up but I cannot download anything due to error 0x80070002. Please help. I am a novice and do not know what to do.

Take it back to the shop for repair.

Use the Windows Update troubleshooter below. To start the troubleshooter, click run now.

Install Windows Update again.

Do a Checkdisk and a Virus Scan.
