Windows 8.1 Black Screen after Upgrade

Hai.
I tried installing Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview by .iso. After several long minutes, the update ends up having a flickering black screen. I can see my cursor, and every once in a while, it goes back in the middle of the screen. When I try to restart the computer, it restores to my previous point going back to my previous operating system. Could someone help me stop this so I can upgrade?

What you should do is burn that ISO to a DVD, and install from that. Mounting an ISO from inside Windows, and attempting to install a new version of Windows will not work.

Actually, i tried doing that, and it STILL gave me a black screen. Why? I tried pressing Shift+F8 and F8 repeatedly but nothing happened!
