So I was recently convinced to make the switch from Windows 7 to 8.1 and since, I've been having endless problems.
I'm constantly getting bluescreens. Most recent bluescreen said "system_service_exemption". I've reason to suspect it's my Chipset drivers for my ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 motherboard as the asus website has no chipset drivers for 8.1, only for 8.0 which I am using.
I'm going to test the Windows 7 chipset driver and I'll get back to you on that one. Not sure what else might be causing these bluescreens.
Second issue I've been having is my browsers are constantly having trouble loading webpages. It acts as if I'm not connected to the internet, when I definitely am (connected to TS3 at the same time). I've been having to type "netsh winsoc reset" into CMD constantly to get it working.
Could I please get some help for permenant sollutions to both these issues as it's really frustrating me and making be want to switch back to Windows 7.
Also, I am using latest bios drivers.
