Hi guys,

I've got a frustrating issue that I'm hoping that you can help me with?

Inconsistently: sometimes every hour, sometimes once a month, my computer reboots itseld. WhoCrashed tells me that this is a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR Bugcheck node: 0x124 Parameter1: 0x0, probably caused by ntoskrnl.exe.

BlueScreenView tells me, well, I'm not sure what it's telling me

The machine is a reasonable spec,
AMD FX6300 6 core (running at 4.1 GHz)
AMD 290 R2 (4GB)
Gigabyte *need to work out the model number*

I've attached the latest dump file - I don't know how to analyse it.

I've also tried the steps listed to answer another thread:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2135979/windows8-whea-uncorrectable-error.html

(sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth)
and my problem persists.

Would anyone by any chance be able to help me at all?

Hi Kanewolf,

Thanks for getting back to me. The machine came in this specification, so I can only guess if this is an overclock. I would guess not, since every setting appeared to be "auto". Even so, I should think that underclocking from it's current position should aim to achieve the same idea that you're getting at?

Embarassingly, I'm not sure exactly which settings I should be changing and in which ratio - the guides around suggested a Front Side Bus, but I couldn't see a setting that matched the name. There is an performance boost option which should be safe to disable I should think.

Would you mind suggesting what kind of settings should be changed?

Cheers,
/JR
