Windows 8.1 from Windows 7 Ultimate

I need help here. I have the ISO file of Windows 8.1. I'm ready to install but all of my games and files(tons of GBs) were all in my HDD. How do I install win 8 without losing them? I saw "Keep personal files only" so? Is this option keeps all of my programs, games and files in my HDD?

Just upgrade to 10 instead. Upgrading to 8 has an option to keep files, but why bother with 10 out and free?

Files just chose the option for keeping files. Games WILL be uninstalled if you go from Ultimate to Home.

If you don't have a legal license for Windows 8.1 though, don't install it.
